From October 24-26, 2024, SmallData will be part of Science Days, a science fair aimed at school children of all ages. Its goal is to introduce the younger audiences to science from all fields in an engaging way. To achieve this, our team of doctoral researchers has prepared interactive games based on the principles of small data and artificial intelligence.
On October 17th, we had the opportunity to test our games with a visiting class of sixth graders from a local school. Through a series of activities, school students were able to familiarize themselves with tools like ChatGPT and could try out and discuss the potential and limitations involved with its use. We were very happy with the positive feedback we got from the class and look forward to sharing the games next week at Europa-Park.
